we recycled all of our old water bottles and milk
cartons for extra planters and hung them from
our kitchen window! So cute.

I even used old broken camera lenses for the catnip!

outfitting today.

My boss called me Rita the Riveter. Which was a
total coincidence, but I could see it... My mom on the
other hand called me Aunt Jamima. ha. bummer.

Which brings up my next point, did anyone ever know
what Aunt Jamima used to look like on the syrup
bottles?... Ha nothing like the white chick that's on
them now with a pretty good tan.

Honestly, I would bet my money that old aunt jamima
would own new aunt jamima in a pancake contest anyday.
jus' sayin.

sad news and great news!

Just dropped off B at the airport, headed for
PORTLANDIA. A week without her might be
pretty hard.

GREAT NEWS IS... This little lady in the photo
above (not the burly one) is coming to town
tomorrow!! And I plan on having many a wild
nights with her and tons of pictures to follow.
Can't wait to see you Al' Bear.
